Terms of Service

These terms cover the hosted the-doctor.report dashboard. The underlying @geoql/doctor CLI is free, open-source, and governed by its MIT license. By using the hosted Service you agree to the terms below.

Effective June 11, 2026

01 Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the-doctor.report and app.the-doctor.report (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02 The Service

the-doctor.report is an optional hosted layer that stores health-score history, trend graphs, and team baselines for the @geoql/doctor CLI. The CLI itself is free, open-source, and fully functional without an account. The hosted dashboard adds persistence and team features on top.

03 Accounts and registration

To use the dashboard you sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your account and any API keys you generate secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old.

04 Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:

  • Attempt to access accounts, projects, or data that are not yours.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach its authentication or rate limits.
  • Submit data you do not have the right to submit, or use the Service to violate any law.
  • Abuse the ingest API in a way that degrades the Service for others, or attempt to circumvent usage limits.
  • Resell or rebrand the hosted Service without our written permission.

05 API keys and usage limits

We issue doc_ API keys so the CLI and your CI can push runs to the ingest API. We may apply fair-use rate limits to keep the Service reliable for everyone, and we may revoke a key that is abused. You are responsible for runs pushed using your keys.

06 The open-source CLI

The @geoql/doctor CLI and its oxlint rule plugins are licensed under the MIT license and remain free to use, modify, and distribute under that license, independent of these terms. Nothing here restricts your rights under the MIT license to the open-source software.

07 Intellectual property

The Service, including the dashboard, the marketing site, and the the-doctor.report name and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. You retain all rights to the projects and data you submit; you grant us only the limited license needed to store and display that data back to you as part of the Service.

08 Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The health score and diagnostics are informational tools and do not guarantee that your code is free of defects, secure, or production-ready.

09 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Because the hosted Service is currently offered free of charge, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months or one hundred US dollars.

10 Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the hosted Service ends; your rights to the open-source CLI under the MIT license are unaffected.

11 Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
